In March, members of the Signs By Tomorrow staff took a field trip to Orlando FL to attend the annual ISA (International Sign Association) International Sign Expo. While many manufacturers were showcasing production and graphics printing equipment, environmental and vehicle graphics materials stole the show.
By utilizing cleanly removable adhesives (think of a heavy duty Post-It note) nearly any surface can be used to display your brand’s message, or add a touch of artistic class to an otherwise drab surface. The beauty of this type of adhesive is that custom graphics can be displayed for a few days or even a year and then be easily removed without causing damage to the surface.
Commissioning an artist to paint a custom wall mural can not only be expensive but can take weeks or months to complete the project. Now, full color graphics can be printed on vinyl or fabric and applied directly to interior and exterior surfaces.
Wall graphics are an affordable and efficient way to transform reception areas, conference rooms, restaurants, and even homes into stimulating environments. Even if you have textured or brick walls within your facility, graphics manufacturers have created vinyl materials that allow us to apply a custom graphic directly to a brick wall giving the appearance that the image has been painted on the building.
As a business owner, it’s hard to stop talking about your business. You want to tell everyone what you do, how you do it differently, and how much you enjoy it. That passion for your business is what motivated you to open it in the first place right?
Sometimes though, you can say so much that no one hears a word of it! One of those times can be when you decide is use custom vehicle graphics to advertise your business. Vehicle graphics, wraps and lettering are a cost effective method of garnering plenty of advertising impressions for your business but only are effective when they are used properly.

Did you think that QR Codes were everywhere in 2011? If so, you should expect to see more of the same in 2012 – on every piece of custom signage possible, from vinyl window graphics to vehicle wraps. Sure, there are absolutely going to be other mobile technologies (such as NFC, perhaps) that will push their way a bit further into the mainstream, but with QR Codes, the momentum of creating awareness has been in full swing for quite a while now.
What does this mean? Well, even my grandmother knows how to scan a QR Code! Thus, advertisers, marketers, educators, etc. should find ways to incorporate QR Codes into their printed materials to reach the growing mobile audience. Here are a few tips to help them incorporate QR Codes that their audience will scan:
